Surveillance Footage
Surveillance Footage is an original film edited and directed by me, with music composed by Griffin Jennings.
The film is composed entirely of excerpts of open-source CCTV video feeds from around the world, accessed live online from my own computer.
It is a haunting collection of moments that reveal the strange and the beautiful of the everyday, moments caught on camera without the subjects’ and landscapes’ awareness of being watched.
Surveillance Footage premiered at the Sett Studios exhibit in Edinburgh, Open-Up-To-Right-Here, which I was invited to curate.
The movie has since been shown at Musk in the Attic at the Crypt in Camberwell with live music, SET Woolwich's Movies for the Apocalypse, and the 2024 SET Film Festival.
